    I am a writer, social scientist, and entrepreneur, deeply committed to being a force for good.

    After graduating from Boston University (Political Science & Philosophy) and working at a local newspaper I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my passion for writing movies.

    I’ve spent the past 15+ years walking my spiritual path, awakening to my mission to serve, unite and uplift.

    Fate brought me to Santa Barbara in 2012. In 2014, I co-founded Hustlers with my twin brother, blending my passion for sports, coaching youth and service. I spent the decade since deeply invested in the local service community, and creating a team model and World Game for community service that can scale.

    I’m also passionate about writing stories, Celtics basketball, studying consciousness and traveling to new places!

    Across my Soul’s sojourns in form, I’ve steadily remained an ambassador of ONE, a stand for sovereignty, and a conduit for change. As an advocate of Self-Reliance, and a firm believer in the power of the human Spirit to overcome great odds, I bring a deep-seated commitment to service into every endeavor I lead.

    Across many centuries, I’ve grown an unwavering love for the city of Boston and its unparalleled legacy; in sports excellence, civic engagement, Higher Thought, and servant leadership.

    As a social scientist and a healing artist, I express my creative genius best through storytelling, technological innovation, civic leadership, and sharing spiritual Truth in a modern, tangible way.

    From co-founding H4H, to scribing “The Legend of Sarah Miller”, to co-inventing “Serve” and “World Game of Service”, my focus remains single-pointed: to create World Peace and a world of ONE; not just for our time, but for all time.

  • Carlen Young

    CHIEF ARCHITECT

    Born in NorCal, Carlen became passionate about community at an early age. Upon moving to Santa Barbara to open a yoga studio, fate brought him together with dream-mates Sat and Seva to pick up on Bucky Fuller’s world game. Now based in Bali, Carlen serves as lead technologist and chief architect for H4H and Serve Community.

    With a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz, Carlen plays at the intersection of technology and social impact, focusing on projects that remove structural and technological barriers to collaboration.

    Carlen’s career reflects a blend of community psychology, cutting-edge technology, and human-computer interaction, all aimed at enhancing civic engagement, creating collective capacity, and enabling individuals to reach their full potential.

    Across his work, from founding cause-focused software development company Semantu, to being CTO of the Empowerment Institute, Carlen emphasizes the psychological needs of safe space, nonviolent communication, and individual sovereignty, all critical to fostering community transformation.
